Author Guidelines

Manuscripts should report not only original theoretical and/or experimental work but also its current industrial and professional relevance. Papers that have been published or under consideration elsewhere and/or copyrighted will not be considered for the publication in JIET. Where necessary, exceptions to this rule may be made when a particular manuscript has only appeared in conference proceedings with abstracts or has only had limited distributions. Authors of such manuscripts must report this issue in the submission process. Manuscripts with less than 4 double-columned pages or 12 references will be declined and not considered for publication.

All manuscripts submitted for review must be written in English. Manuscripts should contain names, affiliations, e-mail addresses of all the authors, an abstract of 100 - 200 words, and a list of not more than 6 keywords. Sections and sub-sections of the paper should be numbered serially. All figures and tables must have individual titles and appear where they fit most into the text material to which they refer. Materials published elsewhere and used in the manuscripts should be referenced rather than paraphrased or reproduced. Proofs, calculations and derivation that detail the flow of thought and reading should be placed in Appendix. References should be arranged by the order in which they appear in the text. Only the references that are cited in the text should be added to the reference list. All manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word formats and submitted online. All papers submitted to JIET are checked for compliance before being sent for review. The template for manuscript preparation must be strictly followed and can be downloaded.

JIET assumes that all submitted manuscripts do not contain proprietary or classified materials protected or unprotected by patents of any form. The authors are completely responsible for the technical contents and any proprietary protections of their papers. Authors who submit their papers to JIET are required to submit a filled copyright transfer agreement form electronically.

Any further information, if known (DOI, author names, dates, reference to a source publication, etc.), should also be given. Barnaby and Jones [8] obtained a different result ….’ List- Number the references (numbers in square brackets) in the list, according to the order in which they appear in the text. example: [1] Young G. O, (1964) “Synthetic structure of industrial plastics (Book style with paper title and editor),” in Plastics, 2nd ed. vol. 3, J. Peters, Ed. New York: McGraw-Hill,  pp. 15–64.
